    Of poetry,
    Stumbling lines,
    Staring far off:
    The effort
    To recall.

Always loved this image of Blake’s , as much for the obvious time and care spent on its execution as its subject matter. World within a grain of sand, etc.

simon: a fine poem, yours–certainly i have felt a little ghostly of late…the approach of autumn, maybe…(and the image is one of Blake’s more amazing/breath-taking… eric

Usually I feel adrift in summer, but this year the weather has been a delight here and my work seemed to flow well enough. We try to keep at least a month free of other commitments to work on new projects. It usually never works out this way, but this year space seems to have been there. Now the year is rushing on again….
